Over 200 emerging world leaders from over 50 countries visit Central Ohio annually to meet with their professional counterparts.  Upon their return to their home country they implement these ideas to strengthen their society and make it a safer world in which to trade, study and travel.

Described by American Ambassadors as, "the most important foreign policy tool the US has at its disposal", the International Visitor Leadership Program brings emerging world leaders to Columbus to meet with their professional counterparts and learn more about US customs and culture.

The Community Connections Program brings entrepreneurs and professionals from the Newly Independent States to learn about Western Business and Governmental Practices by interning with local companies and organizations.

In partnership with local institutions like FIRSTLINK and the Ohio Supreme Court, IVC provides training to international visitors in the United States and abroad.  Recent programs include:  "Fundraising for Slovenian Non-Profit Organizations" and "Volunteer Center Development for Chile".
