Internships with IVC are an excellent way to learn about career opportunities in the field of international relations. The Program Officer assists the Program Director in implementing IVC's US Department of State sponsored international visitor programs. Duties include: developing itineraries and preparing materials for assigned programs; managing program related data; writing press releases; marketing to program agencies; assisting with the development of special projects and events.
The Public Relations Officer works under the direction of the Executive Director to publicize IVC in the Columbus Community and promote IVC to sending agencies. Duties include: writing and coordinating press releases; creating the monthly newsletter; maintaining and updating IVC's Website; creating and updating IVC promotional material; and assisting with the development of special projects and events.
